A Connecticut attorney is leading the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.

Jim Schulwolf was named chair of the ABA Business Law Section during its annual meeting earlier this month.

Schulwolf is a partner in Shipman & Goodwin LLP Business and Corporate Practice Group.

“With his election, the ABA has recognized Jim’s dedication to the Business Law Section, his years of service to the ABA, as well as his professional excellence,” Shipman managing partner Leander Dolphin said.

“We are excited to see Jim make significant contributions during his term and congratulate him on his appointment.”

Schulwolf previously served as vice chair and editor-in-chief of the ABA’s The Business Lawyer publication.
