October 10 Business Energy Conference Spotlights Security Issues, Green Boom

A leading information security specialist is one of the featured speakers at this year's What's The Deal: Business Energy Conference, scheduled for October 10 in Cromwell.

Ernest Hayden, an executive consultant with Alexandria, Virginia-based Securicon, will discuss global energy, utilities, smart grid protection, and industrial cybersecurity at the conference, presented by the Connecticut Business & Industry Association and the Connecticut Power and Energy Society.

In the morning keynote address, Hartford Business Journal managing editor Brad Kane will offer an inside look at the state's booming green business sector and how the media covers an often controversial topic.
