Gov. Malloy to Discuss Vision for Connecticut, State's Economy, and Progress Being Made
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will discuss his vision for Connecticut, the state's economy, and the progress being made, at CBIA's 197th Annual Meeting & Reception on Wed. Oct. 24 in Hartford.
Also speaking will be Paul Vallas, internationally recognized school turnaround expert, who will describe the transformation he's bringing about in Bridgeport's public schools.
Paul Pastorek, former Louisiana State Superintendent of Education said of Vallas, "I think he accomplished, frankly, the unthinkable. [Nobody] thought that New Orleans would make the achievement gains we've made."
CBIA's 197th Annual Meeting & Reception will take place at the Marriott Hartford Downtown on Oct. 24, from 4:15 to 7:30 p.m.
