The American Heart Association’s annual Greater Hartford Go Red for Women Luncheon is set for Wednesday, March 27 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.

The movement is designed to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the United States, claiming the life of a woman every minute.

The Heart Association is also marking its centennial year focusing on heart and brain health for all.
