The State of Connecticut has embarked on a branding campaign that promotes the idea that Connecticut is still a revolutionary place. Northeast Utilities and divisions, CL&P and Yankee Gas have launched

InnovateCT.com and a contest to support the campaign and to celebrate the revolutionary ideas of Connecticut’s residents and its companies. The contest asks residents and companies to submit their story about innovation. And it doesn’t matter if your innovation was 115 years ago, 15 days ago or 15 minutes agoif it was created in Connecticut, they want to know about it.

CBIA has been asked to reach out to the Connecticut business community and ask them to take the time to submit their innovations. They are taking submissions from all over the State and will choose a monthly winner.

So if you win, what do you get? Breakfast catered by Panera Bread on a date of your choice and bragging rights, that’s what. And why breakfast? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You need it to keep those creative and innovative ideas coming. The goal of

InnovateCT.com is to celebrate the revolutionary ideas of Connecticut’s residents and its companies.

As an added bonus, you and/or your company will also be promoted on the sponsor’s social media sites and through traditional channels (like press releases to the local news).
