There’s a new fair in town and it’s going to be like no other this fall in Connecticut.
Bring your family and friends to the first-ever Greater Hartford Mini-Maker Faire, Saturday, Oct. 3, at Tunxis Community College in Farmington.
Called the “Greatest Show-and-Tell on Earth,” Maker Faires are all-ages, family-centric celebrations of creativity and ingenuity of all kinds—from music, to robotics and rockets, recycling and upcycling, food, games, you name it.
More than 50 makers, hackers, craftspeople, artisans, and geeks will have booths where they will demonstrate their creativity and creations, get you involved in hands-on activities, and inform, inspire, and invigorate you.
CBIA is proud to be producing the Greater Hartford Mini-Maker Faire on behalf of the Connecticut College of Technology’s Regional Center for Next Generation Manufacturing, which provided funding from the National Science Foundation.
We’re also grateful for our corporate sponsors (and CBIA members), Legrand, Stanley Black & Decker, LEGO Systems Inc., and TRUMPF.
It’s all free and there will be food vendors on campus to tempt your tastebuds and keep your energy going for all the faire fun.
The Greater Hartford Mini-Maker Faire—it’s free!–will be Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 am to 5 pm at Tunxis Community College, Farmington.
