Cheshire-based veterans support organization Til Duty Is Done is seeking companies to sponsor and exhibit at a Hiring Our Heroes job fair for veterans at Vets Rock, a multi-day event at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville.
In addition to the job fair, Vets Rock organizers will provide, supportive services, professional sessions, and a concert hosted by Tony Orlando.
Til Duty Is Done is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to reduce veteran homelessness and unemployment and assist with successful reintegration.
This “Hiring Our Heroes” event at Vets Rock is conducted in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, the Connecticut Committee of Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the  American Legion, Goodwill Industries International, WTNH  Channel 8, iHeart Radio, and other local organizations.
The event is also made possible through the generous support of Mohegan Sun, whose chairman, Kevin Brown, is a retired combat veteran and graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
