According to a press release, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) announced yesterday that it will be presenting CBIA member Creative Music Center based in Monroe, CT with a “Top 100 Dealer Award” at the organization’s annual summer music product trade show, which takes place in Nashville, Tenn. July 2123. The musical instrument retail store and music school, also voted Connecticut’s best musical instrument store in the past, is also in the running to receive NAMM’s “Dealer of the Year Award,” which will be announced at an awards dinner in Nashville, July 22.

Creative Music Center, a Connecticut-based, woman-owned small business, was the only store in Southern Connecticut to earn the prestigious award.

“I am honored to receive such a prestigious award,” said Creative Music Center owner, Liz Reisman. “I’m grateful to all of the customers who support local businesses like Creative Music Center, and I am grateful to every single one of my staff members who are truly passionate about spreading their love of music. Thanks to the customers and my extraordinary staff, Creative Music Center has become the go-to resource for music makers in Connecticut.”
