Sample Ballots: August 9 Primary Elections

Sample town ballots have been released for Connecticut’s August 9 primary elections to determine party candidates for statewide offices and two U.S. congressional seats. 

Registered Democrats and Republicans are eligible to vote in the primary elections.

Polling places across the state will be open from 6 am to 8 pm.

State House Districts 

• 16th (Simsbury)
• 34th (East Haddam, East Hampton, Colchester)
• 98th (Guilford, Branford)
• 116th (New Haven, West Haven)
• 127th (Bridgeport)

Republican Party Primaries 

State House Districts 

• 69th (Bridgewater, Roxbury, Washington, Southbury)
• 78th (Plymouth, Bristol)
