Last year’s CT Paid Leave Report stated you received payroll contributions of $517,913,361 (for 6 months through May 31, 2022) to an existing balance of $390,949,029 for a total of $908,862,929 (1  1/2 years).

You have not reported the 12 month payroll contributions for 2022-2023 but let’s assume the are 2X the 6 month rate of $517,913,361 which is $1,035,826,722 plus the previous balance of $908,862,929 makes total contributions to date of $1,944,689,651.  That’s just under $2 Billion dollars.  And you have paid out 2 1/2 year total benefits of $374.6 Million.

What are you doing with the $1.5 Billion excess!
