Regulations and Statutes
The State of Connecticut has had mandatory recycling for a number of items
in effect since January 1, 1991. Listed below is the full text of some
of the regulations relating to recycling as well as an annotated listing
of all recycling statutes. This on-line listing is provided for the convenience
of the on-line visitor but may not contain an up-to-date listing or all
related statutes.

MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (DEP) SOLICITS
APPLICANTS FOR RECYCLING INDUSTRIES REIMBURSEMENT CREDIT (RIRC) GRANT.
The RIRC Program provides grants of up to $50,000 to recycling
companies for the purchase of capital equipment and/or funding for pilot
projects to overcome barriers to establishing or increasing the use of
difficult to recycle materials. In addition, please note the new product
development and testing grant option that offers funding of up to $5,000
