EPA TRI Compliance Assistance Workshops- CT
Owners/Operators/Consultants/Engineers
US EPA Region 1, in conjunction with the Connecticut Department of
Environmental Protection TRI program, are providing a series of Toxic
Release Inventory Compliance Assistance Workshops in locations
throughout Connecticut. These workshops are designed for the
experienced TRI reporter and are free but require registration via
email.
The Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009 Changes Toxics Release
Inventory (TRI) Reporting Requirements: Toxics Release Inventory
(TRI) reporting requirements changed on March 11, 2009, as a result
of a change in federal law. The 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act,
returned TRI reporting requirements back to the rules in effect prior
to December 22, 2006. These changes affect 2008 TRI reports due July
1, 2009.
The workshops will be presented by Dwight Peavey, US EPA TRI Program
Coordinator.
The TRI workshops are half day (8:30 AM-Noon). Presentations will
begin promptly at 9:00 AM.
