Your annual payroll should reflect your gross payroll for all Connecticut-based employees, partners, officers, owner’s pay, and bonuses. Please do not include any temporary or subcontracted help.
CBIA membership dues are deductible as a business expense for federal income tax purposes. Lobbying expenses, which are approximately 10% of dues, are not deductible. Therefore, you may deduct up to 90% of your CBIA membership dues as a business expense on your federal tax return. Dues are non-refundable.
