2022 Annual Meeting & Reception

Girls Who Code CEO Dr. Tarika Barrett headlined this year’s annual meeting.

Over five hundred business leaders attended CBIA’s 2022 Annual Meeting & Reception, Connecticut’s largest networking event of the year.

This year’s event featured Girls Who Code CEO Dr. Tarika Barrett addressing the critical topic of workplace diversity and equity, including actionable steps for creating a more inclusive and supportive environment.

Barrett’s work at the international nonprofit organization includes important lessons for addressing inequities and opening more doors to rewarding careers and opportunities in technology and other fields.
