2024 Annual Meeting & Reception
CBIA brought Connecticut’s business community together for the largest networking event of the year.
Our keynote speaker—made possible through the generous support of JP Morgan Chase—was the remarkable Renee Montgomery, a University of Connecticut alum, two-time WNBA champion, sports broadcaster, and activist.
Montgomery is celebrated for her impressive career in the WNBA as well as her groundbreaking role as Atlanta Dream vice president, part-owner, and investor. Most recently, she’s added designer to her resume with the new C-Suite 21 fashion line.
Her documentary, A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery, was released in October 2024 on Roku.
Montgomery’s journey from the courts to the boardroom is a testament to the power of ambition and the spirit of leadership.
