Employee Mental Health: Complying with State, Federal Laws

ABOUT THIS EVENT

The program addresses the legal framework of state and federal laws applicable to mental health issues, from FMLA to ADA to Connecticut’s new requirement for large employers to provide service workers with mental health wellness days.

We examine the practical considerations for supervisors and human resources professionals about what is appropriate to ask and what’s off limits, how to provide help without inadvertently violating the law, and how to set boundaries with employees.

Given the rising stress levels among many workers in today’s post-COVID workplace, employers must be equipped with the skills to correctly navigate these situations.
