Danielle Cloud is a policy director covering workforce and transportation issues for CBIA, Connecticut’s leading business organization.

In her role with the public policy team, Cloud works on issues related to education, transportation, childcare, and public safety. She engages with stakeholders to support policy solutions that focus on workforce readiness and accessible childcare options.

Before joining CBIA, Cloud gained experience in politics through internships in both the public and private sectors, including two congressional offices and a government relations role with a financial technology company. She looks forward to applying the skills developed in these roles to her work at CBIA.

Cloud earned her bachelor’s degree in political science with a focus on strategic communications from Howard University and plans to pursue an MBA.
