Dustin Nord is director of the CBIA Foundation for Economic Growth and Opportunity, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on long-term economic growth strategies for Connecticut.

Nord leads the foundation’s efforts to drive economic competitiveness through the implementation of Opportunity Connecticut, the foundation’s economic action plan.

Prior to joining the CBIA Foundation, Nord was a senior research associate at AdvanceCT, the economic development organization for the state of Connecticut.

There he conducted research on Connecticut’s economy, focusing also on policy research related to taxation, housing, and occupational licensing.

Nord holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Villanova University.
