Joe Budd manages CBIA’s communications and events teams, helping guide messaging strategy and execution and overseeing the organization’s robust calendar of programs and conferences.

A former newspaper journalist and foreign correspondent, his professional career also spans book and digital media publishing and trade association management and advocacy.

He serves on the UConn Tech Park’s advisory board and the board of directors of Operation Hope of Fairfield.

Budd lives in Fairfield with his wife, a small business owner. They have two adult daughters.
