Understanding the One Big Beautiful Bill  

The recently passed federal budget reconciliation—the One Big Beautiful Bill Act—features sweeping changes to the federal tax code, restructures discretionary and entitlement spending, and raises the nation’s debt ceiling by $5 trillion. 

While the bill represents significant opportunities for individuals and businesses, it also introduces considerable fiscal pressures and creates potential economic headwinds. 

Provisions in the bill provide a mix of industry investment, direct stimulus, and policy changes that will disproportionately impact our state in the years ahead—for better and for worse.
