Avelo Expands New Haven Routes

Avelo Airlines is continuing to add new destinations from New Haven.
The airline announced it will begin flying twice a week from Tweed New Haven Airport to Chicago O’Hare International airport beginning May 15.
“It’s a great day for Avelo in Connecticut,” Avelo Airlines founder and CEO Andrew Levy said.
“Our move to O’Hare allows us to continue to share Avelo’s low fares, travel-friendly convenience and industry-leading reliability with our customers.
“This new nonstop route also makes exploring everything the Windy City has to offer a seamless journey for visitors.”

Avelo also began flights to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport twice weekly April 4.
The announcements come as the company nears the four-year anniversary of its first flight April 28, 2021.
Today, it serves 55 cities across 23 states.
The New HVN CEO Michael Jones, who oversees the investment and expansion of Tweed New Haven Airport said Avelo’s expansion of destinations supports the airport’s growth.
“Avelo Airlines’ continued focus on access to airports that best serve the region is a testament to the incredible growth and energy we’re building here at Tweed New Haven Airport,” Jones said.

How about adding a non stop flight to Austin Texas, PLEASE!
I wish they had flights to Denver on Fridays and Saturdays during ski season (December to April).
Please fly to Lakeland from O’Hare
