Connecticut companies are continuing their efforts to send aid to Ukrainian families in need.

A group of Shipman & Goodwin attorneys raised $11,000 for the Herosi Foundation, a pediatric cancer charity in Poland.

The foundation is coordinating humanitarian efforts to assist with the transition and continuation of clinical care and treatment of Ukrainian children with cancer and blood diseases.

“Together, we can make an amazing difference,” Shipman & Goodwin health law practice group partner Joan Feldman said.

“I am very fortunate to work with a firm of lawyers who are so committed to addressing these types of local and global issues.”

St. Jude partnered with the Herosi Foundation and other organizations worldwide to coordinate the efforts.

As of early March, the organizations had helped more than 500 Ukrainian children with cancer by translating medical records and providing transport convoys.
