Milford-based Alinabal Group is celebrating a new CEO and a new acquisition.

The precision manufacturing company announced Steve Gore [pictured above] as CEO March 25.

Gore was previously COO of Massachusetts-based Momentum Manufacturing Group.

In a statement, Alinabal said that Gore’s manufacturing experience will help drive the company’s growth.

“I am excited to take the helm at Alinabal Group as we build a company that customers can count on to be their single-source manufacturing partner,” Gore said.

Expanding Footprint

Gore’s announcement came the same day that Alinabal announced that it had acquired Putnam-based ERW, Inc.

The sheet metal fabrication and machined products company was founded in 1985.

ERW serves the commercial and military aerospace industry as well as the medical device industry.

“We will continue expanding Alinabal Group’s domestic footprint to offer the full-service support OEMs need.”

“Our companies share proud histories of customer service, quality and innovation,” said ERW general manager Andrew Whittenburg.

“We are committed to bringing more value to our customers as we leverage our collective expertise to provide them an advantage in today’s most challenging metal applications.”

Gore noted that the acquisition is part of Alinabal’s commitment to its customers.

“Alongside new partners, we will continue expanding Alinabal Group’s domestic footprint to offer the full-service support OEMs need to launch precision products faster,” he said.
