The second in the new MADE business leadership series will take place May 28 during the prestigious Yale Innovation Summit.

Hosted by the Department of Economic and Community Development in partnership with Yale Ventures, CBIA, WTNH, and WICC, Innovation MADE will bring together entrepreneurs, innovators, and business executives to explore how innovation drives opportunity and growth across Connecticut’s economy.

The MADE series is designed to connect private and public sector leaders and create opportunities for professionals and entrepreneurs in the state’s evolving business landscape.

Innovation MADE features Connecticut chief innovation officer and DECD commissioner Dan O’Keefe and discussions about the opportunities quantum computing and artificial intelligence offer for the state’s economy.

Featured speakers will include a number of Connecticut industry leaders, including Biohaven CEO Vlad Coric.

Summit Access

Innovation MADE registration includes access to the morning’s main stage programming, networking sessions, and office hours with state and private sector leaders, along with a full-day pass to the entire Yale Innovation Summit.

The annual two-day summit features cutting-edge tracks in arts, biotech, civic, climate, health, and technology.

“Connecticut has always been a state of bold ideas, and today that spirit of innovation is more alive than ever,” said Gov. Ned Lamont said.

“Events like Innovation MADE showcase the talent, creativity, and collaboration that define our identity and ensure we continue to lead for the betterment of humankind.”

The state is also partnering with Yale Ventures to debut the first-ever Connecticut Innovation Pavilion at the summit.

The pavilion allows attendees to connect with state leaders, learn about public resources to grow their business, and enjoy unique experiences.

“Innovation doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens when we connect ideas, people, and resources,” said O’Keefe.
