Online filing passwords reset

September 30 is the annual filing deadline for the EEO-1 Survey. Reporting companies will be sent new passwords via snail mail notification letters during the month of August. Although “paper and pencil” hard-copy filing is still acceptable, the preferred method for filing the EEO-1 report is the EEOC’s Web-based system that provides access to prior filing years’ data, enables quicker completion using pre-populated on-line forms, and is more secure and confidential.

The EEO-1 filing is mandatory for private employers subject to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and employing 100 or more employees, or businesses employing 50 or more employees and are prime contractors or first-tier subcontractors with a contract, subcontract, or purchase order amounting to $50,000 or more.
