Avelo, Breeze Add New Flights from Bradley, Tweed

Bradley International Airport and Tweed New Haven Airport are continuing to expand operations.

Avelo Airlines announced nonstop flights out of Tweed to Baltimore/Washington, Raleigh/Durham, and Chicago, beginning late May.

The airline currently operates nonstop flights out of Tweed to Myrtle Beach, Nashville, Savannah, and six nonstop flights to Florida.

Breeze Airways announced new nonstop flights out of Bradley to Nashville, Akron/Canton, Savannah, Richmond, and Jacksonville beginning June 3 and flights to Sarasota/Bradenton beginning June 4.

The airline currently operates nonstop flights out of Bradley to Columbus, Richmond, Pittsburgh, and Charleston.

“Easy direct flights in and out of our state through some of our major cities make it more accessible for travelers and businesses,” Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner David Lehman said.

“This is great news for Connecticut businesses, residents, visitors, and our economy as a whole.”
