Hartford-area businesses: Could you use help with data entry, marketing campaigns, science and technology-related research, or other special projects?  Come to a special breakfast at CBIA on Tuesday, Nov. 19, to hear how you can benefit from interns from Hartford’s Academy of Engineering and Green Technology.

Find out why several businesses enthusiastically hire high school interns and why they think you should, too. In the past four years, more than 125 high school students from the academy have applied what they’re learning there to help local engineering and law firms, communications companies, utilities, architectural and construction companies, and other businesses.

At the breakfast, you’ll hear from employers about why they have hired these students and how their companies have benefited. Meet some of these outstanding young people and listen to how the internships have changed their lives. You'll also hear from a Hartford school principal how internships have changed his school.

Hosted by CBIA President and CEO John Rathgeber, the breakfast will take place from 8-9:15 pm on Nov. 19 at CBIA’s offices in Hartford.

The breakfast and meeting are free, but reservations are required. Contact CBIA’s Dayl Walker at 860.244.1935 or dayl.walker@cbia.com by Nov. 14.
