OSHA Advisory Committee Reviews Whistleblower, Heat-Related Programs

OSHA officials will discuss its whistleblower and heat-related programs at its next national advisory committee on occupational safety and health meeting. 

The meeting is set for May 31 from 9 am to 4 pm. 

Employers and members of the public can attend in person or online. 

In addition to OSHA and NIOSH updates, the group is set to discuss OSHA’s Whistleblower Protection Program

They will also review recommendations that came out of a NACOSH Heat Work Group report that could impact heat injury and illness prevention rulemaking.

Employers can register to attend the meeting on the NACOSH webpage. Submit comments and requests to speak to the Federal eRulemaking Portal, Docket Number OSHA-2023-0003, by May 15.
