Business leaders from across the state will gather in the state Legislative Office Building on Wednesday, Feb. 29, for Connecticut Business Day 2012.

Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman will be the keynote speaker at the event, which begins with networking and registration at 7:30 am, followed by the program at 8:15 am. Also speaking during the morning will be DECD Commissioner Catherine Smith and Senate Republican Leader John McKinney (R-Fairfield).

After the program, around 11 am, business leaders will be seeking out their local legislators to meet with them on their most important issues.

Sponsored by CBIA and the Connecticut Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, Business Day is the biggest gathering of employers at the Capitol during the legislative session.
