DECD Contact for Out-of State Inquiries

Issues & Policies

Many CBIA members have reported receiving calls from economic development agencies throughout the nation to entice more businesses to leave Connecticut for other states.

A key way for Connecticut to regain its economic competitiveness with other states is to know what incentives they are offering our businesses to relocate there.

This information is critical because it provides guidance to state officials about the changes Connecticut needs to make to avoid losing more businesses.

If you receive one of these calls, consider reporting it to the Department of Economic and Community Development.

You can direct your call or email to: Ron Angelo, Deputy Commissioner, DECD (860.270.8007; ronald.angelo@ct.gov).
