Do-Over: New Vote in Democratic Primary

Democratic voters in the 5^th State House District (Hartford and Windsor) will vote one more time, on Tuesday, Oct. 2, to settle the primary contest between candidates Leo Canty and Brandon McGee.
Superior Court Judge Susan Peck ordered the new election after a tie vote between Canty and McGee vote survived two recounts and courtroom mysteries about lost ballots.
Winner of the Oct. 2 primary will face Republican Paul Panos in the November 6  general election.
