Governor Dannel P. Malloy will unveil the state’s long-awaited Comprehensive Energy Strategy when he addresses Connecticut business leaders on Friday, Oct. 5, in Cromwell.

Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Dan Esty will join the Governor and lead a discussion later in the morning on the role that natural gas will play in Connecticut’s energy future.

Matt Dunne, manager of U.S. community affairs for Google, will speak on investing in and planning for a 21st century energy world.

Organized by CBIA and the Connecticut Power and Energy Society (CPES), the conference is the state’s premier annual business energy event.

It also features many other panel discussions and case studies designed to help businesses learn practical ways to lower their energy costs, increase their energy efficiency, and access financing resources.

The What's the Deal? conference  takes place from 7:45 am to 3 pm, at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell on Friday, Oct. 5.
