How your company can participate

Everything officially kicks off with National Manufacturing Day, Friday, Oct. 4, to begin Connecticut's Manufacturing Month festivities. CBIA is joining with other groups around the state and U.S. to celebrate how important and valuable manufacturers are to our communities and economy. Connecticut manufacturers may participate in these planned activities:

  • Host an open house or tour for your state legislators and news media from your area to showcase what you do and how you do it.  CBIA will help set-up the details and logistics for this event. The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is encouraging their members to hold tours on Friday, Oct. 4. We would be happy to assist you and help coordinate an activity on this date or any other that’s convenient.
  • Submit a story or video about manufacturing (four paragraphs written, or a two- minute video) to be featured on CBIA's Manufacturing blog during the month of October.

If your company would like to participate in one or more of these CBIA October Manufacturing Month activities (or have another idea), please contact Adam Ney at 860.244.1933 or adam.ney@cbia.com.
