Prepare for an eye-opening and inspiring day at the State Capitol on Wednesday, May 13, as nearly 40 Connecticut manufacturers from across the state display their products and services during Manufacturing & Technology Day.

Connecticut’s manufacturers are the founders and keepers of the state’s modern economy, moving boldly into the 21st century on the tide of technology and innovation.

Their exhibits will be open to the public from 11 am to 2 pm in the Capitol’s North Lobby and Hall of Flags. [Photo: Rep. Lonnie Reed (D-Branford) visits the United Technologies exhibit and UTC's Martin D'Eramo during the 2013 Manufacturing & Technology Day]

The day will begin with a morning program for manufacturers and legislators on today’s top issues and developments in the 2015 session of the General Assembly.

Guest speakers will include the co-chairs of the Legislative Manufacturing Caucus, Sen. Joan Hartley (D-Waterbury) and Rep. Selim Noujaim (R-Waterbury); and Catherine Smith, commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development.

Come to Manufacturing & Technology Day 2015 to see what’s being made in Connecticut and support the job creators who are driving our state’s economy.

The exhibits are free and open to the public.
