1947.

How many employees work for your company?

Nine.

What products does your company manufacture? Who are your customers?

Wire and cable.

Why did you choose manufacturing?

Family business.

What makes your company unique?

Woman-owned, second generation

Why did you choose Connecticut?

We lived here.

What is the greatest advantage to operating in Connecticut?

Proximity to major cities and highways.

Where do you see your company in five years? Ten years?

In five years, hopefully fully recovered financially from the last five years. In 10 years, employee owned.

What’s the main thing policymakers could implement to make your company more competitive?

Small businesses need support not to be lumped in and punished for corporate America’s greed and bad behavior. Stop financing the same three corporations in this state and redistribute those funds to the thousands of small employers.
