Norwich Hosts Manufacturing Roadshow

CBIA affiliate ReadyCT’s manufacturing roadshow will arrive at Norwich’s Dodd Stadium in September. 

The event offers area manufacturers a chance to speak with students and give them glimpse of their businesses.

ReadyCT is partnering with the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Connecticut Workforce Investment Board, and the Eastern Advanced Manufacturing Alliance Regional Sector Partnership for the event, supported by the state’s Manufacturing Innovation Fund.

Research shows many students decide around the time they are in middle school if they are interested in STEM fields. 

The event aims to capture their attention and start the conversation about what is available. 

The event runs from 9 am to noon, Thursday, Sept. 28. Businesses can register to have a booth at the event for free.
