OSHA is inviting companies to take part in its annual Safe + Sound Week, a nationwide event promoting workplace health and safety.

Safe + Sound week will be held Aug. 10-16, 2020, marking the programs fourth year.

The event recognizes successful workplace health and safety programs while offering information and ideas for keeping American workers safe.

Companies interested in participating may visit the Safe + Sound Week webpage to register their activities and learn how to get involved.

OSHA said companies of all sizes should join Safe + Sound Week because it can help them identify and manage workplace hazards before workers get hurt or become ill.

It also improves sustainability and the bottom line.

“Participating in Safe + Sound Week can help get your program started, energize an existing one, or provide a chance to recognize your safety successes,” the agency said.

Any business looking for an opportunity to recognize their commitment to safety is welcome to participate.

More than 3,300 businesses took part in 2019’s Safe + Sound Week.
