Scholarship Applications Open for Metalforming Students
The Precision Metalforming Association Education Foundation is offering scholarships to individuals looking for careers in the metalforming industry.
The foundation offers scholarships of $1,000 or more based on merit.
High school seniors or current postsecondary students who are pursuing a career in metalforming can apply.
Students must be enrolled in a metalforming, manufacturing, technology, or engineering program, a trades/job training, apprenticeship or machining program, CNC, tool and die, or welding or stamping certificate program, or be a student of an accredited institution with 20 or more contact hours.
The scholarship committee is accepting applications for the fall scholarship through Nov. 3.
Students in Connecticut should apply through the PMA Southern New England chapter.
Businesses are encouraged to share information about the opportunity with employees who might be eligible.
