Sikorsky President Keynotes Oct. 29 Manufacturing Summit
Sikorsky Aircraft president Paul Lemmo is the keynote speaker for the Made in Connecticut: 2021 Manufacturing Summit Oct. 29 in Trumbull.
This year’s summit—produced by CBIA, CONNSTEP, and ReadyCT and sponsored by TD Bank—addresses the state’s latest manufacturing initiatives, shares insights from sector leaders, and presents the annual innovation, leadership, and STEM awards.
Lemmo, who began leading the Lockheed Martin company in January, will discuss industry trends, particularly for the aerospace engineering sector.
The conference also features the release of the annual Connecticut Manufacturing Report, produced in collaboration with RSM, featuring important insights into the state of the industry and its future.
RSM senior manager Ryan McGurk will moderate a discussion on the survey’s findings with National Graphics, Inc. CFO Michele Etzel, Stanley Black & Decker’s Graham Robinson, president of Stanley Industrial, and Ari Santiago, CEO of CompassMSP and host of the Made in America podcast.
And three industry leaders—Burke Aerospace president Brittany Isherwood, The Lee Company’s Marietta Lee, and Bead Industries CEO Jill Mayer—will discuss the future of manufacturing in Connecticut, moderated by CONNSTEP president and CEO Beatriz Gutierrez.
The conference is one of CBIA’s first in-person events since March 2020, and includes a live streaming option.
The Made in Connecticut: 2021 Manufacturing Summit is made possible through the generous support of TD Bank with additional support from RSM, GuardSight, and Stanley Black & Decker.
