Beekley Donation Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

The charitable arm of Beekley Corporation is promoting breast cancer awareness and helping bring screenings directly to communities across the state.  

The Beekley Family ARC Angel charitable fund donated $10,000 to support Hartford HealthCare’s 3D mobile mammography program this month.  

The donation will support Hartford HealthCare’s Take the Time program, which provides hospital-quality 3D breast imaging, experienced technologists, radiologist interpretation, and connections to follow-up care.  

The mobile program is designed to make screenings more accessible, particularly for women facing barriers such as transportation, work schedules, or limited access to care.  

‘Care Where You Are’ 

“Healthcare should not depend on whether someone can easily get to us,” Hartford Hospital oncology manager Analisa Eichstedt said.  

“Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is bring exceptional care to where people already are.” 

The program works with community organizations, including First Choice Health Centers in East Hartford.
