Cheshire, Prospect Chambers Merge

The Cheshire Chamber of Commerce has merged with its neighbors to the west, the Prospect Business Association.

Following a vote by the Cheshire Chamber’s board of directors, the organization will now be known as the Cheshire-Prospect Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The new group’s focus is to enhance, support, represent, and provide opportunities for the business communities it serves along its shared journey of economic development, chamber officials said.   

“We believe that coming together with the Prospect Business Association will create a stronger, more dynamic organization that is better positioned to serve our members and the broader community,” said Cheshire-Prospect Regional Chamber president Yetta Augur. 

By aligning resources and networks, the group says it aims to provide even greater value to its members, increase advocacy efforts, and streamline initiatives that benefit businesses of all sizes. 

Over the coming weeks, both organizations said they will work closely to integrate operations and communicate with all members.
