Connecticut Wealth Management is expanding how it supports business owners.

The Farmington-based firm announced the DeLisaGroup and its founder, Kelly McDaniel, has joined the team.

CTWM said the move strengthens its ability to advise privately-held businesses beyond traditional financial planning, adding services focused on leadership development, executive coaching, strategic planning, and succession.

McDaniel, president and owner of DeLisaGroup, brings decades of experience working with business leaders navigating growth, transition, and organizational change.

She will lead and expand services at CTWM that address the human and organizational side of ownership, including consulting, coaching, leadership development, and recruiting.

Organizational Leadership

The integration reflects a broader shift in how the firm approaches advising clients—taking into account both financial and operational challenges faced by business owners.

“We’ve known Kelly for a long time, and what stands out is how naturally she connects with business owners,” president and CEO of Connecticut Wealth Management Kevin Leahy said.

“She has a way of stepping into conversations that are often complex or uncomfortable and helping leaders get to what really matters.”

McDaniel said the move builds on the work she has already been doing with company leaders during key decision-making moments.

“I’ve spent my career alongside business owners at some of the most important inflection points in their companies,” McDaniel said.

“A lot of that work has been sitting in the room with leaders as they work through decisions that don’t always have clear answers. Joining CTWM feels like a natural extension of that work.”

The move positions the firm to provide a more connected advisory experience for business owners facing periods of growth, transition, and succession, aligning financial strategy with the broader realities of running and leading a business.
