Hartford Athletic, DOL Host Hiring Expo

Hartford Athletic and the state Department of Labor are collaborating on the soccer team’s fifth annual Hiring Expo Sept. 10.

The expo will run from 10 am to 2 pm at Hartford’s Trinity Health Stadium, the team’s home ground.

Expo partners include the Connecticut Department of Transportation, DATTCO, Work Zone Safety, Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling, M&T Bank, USA Waste & Recycling, and All Waste, Inc.

Participating companies include those from the finance, technology, manufacturing, education, hospitality, and healthcare sectors.

More than 80 employers and over 1,000 job seekers took part last year’s expo.

Companies interested in hosting a table at the expo can register online.

The expo is free to attend and jobseekers will also be provided with résumé assistance, interview strategies, and dressing advice.
