Investing in Your Greatest Asset: Your Employees

A skilled workforce is essential in giving businesses a competitive edge. CBIA's Education Foundation helps Connecticut businesses invest in their employees by

  • convening groups of business representatives to identify immediate and future training demands in areas such as advanced manufacturing, biosciences, IT, telecommunications, and energy
  • maintaining alliances with private and public educational and workforce training institutions
  • administering grants to help underwrite the costs associated with employee training
  • helping businesses locate additional sources of local, state, and federal funding
