Businesses Invited to Join New Engineering Network

The University of Connecticut's School of Engineering is organizing a network of industry professionals, companies of all sizes, entrepreneurs, and engineering faculty and students to work collaboratively and benefit from the group's resources, research interests, and expertise. CBIA members are invited to take advantage of free, no-obligation membership.

 

Dubbed “the Connection,” this new network will provide

• Access to faculty for funded R&D projects and Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) partners
• Access to qualified students for internships, co-ops, and full-time employment
• Access (for a modest fee) to skilled student/instructor teams who can tackle your firm's design challenges
• A mechanism for informing other members of your products or services
• Invitations to seminars featuring renowned experts
• Updates on UConn engineering news and events
• A forum for asking technical questions, answered via an “Ask an Expert” column
