Occupational Injuries/Illnesses 2014
According to the latest data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the rate of nonfatal occupational injuries and illnesses in Connecticut dropped from 3.8 cases per 100 full-time equivalent employees in 2013 to 3.5 cases in 2014.
Nationally, the incidence rate dropped from 3.3 to 3.2 cases per 100 full-time workers, continuing a pattern of declines which, with the exception of 2012, has occurred annually for the last 12 years.
