The U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement—which took effect July 1—covers a wide range of industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, intellectual property, and more.

The agreement provides a more predictable environment for small businesses—including intellectual property protections, new standards for the digital economy, and reductions in red tape—but barriers to accessing international markets still remain.

Moderated by CBIA president and CEO Chris DiPentima, the 8.11.20 webinar panel features Dr. Jorge Islas Lopez, Consul General of Mexico in New York; Ken Monahan, Senior Director of International Economic Affairs for the National Association of Manufacturers; and Khawar Nasim, Deputy Consul General of Canada in New York.
