Every fall, CBIA surveys member companies to find out what paid holidays they will be offering their employees during the upcoming year. The results of this fall’s survey appear below and reflect responses from 216 Connecticut firms. (Percentages indicate percent of companies planning to offer the day as a paid holiday.) Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 5): 99%

Columbus Day (Monday, Oct. 10): 16%

Veterans Day (Friday, Nov. 11): 7%

Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 24): 100%

Day after Thanksgiving (Friday, Nov. 25): 79%

Friday, Dec. 23: 15%

Monday, Dec. 26: 48%

Dec. 23 and Dec. 26: 22%

Closed week of Dec. 26-30: 17%
