Connecticut More Than Pink Walk Is Oct. 26

Bushnell Park in Hartford will be covered in pink when the Susan G. Komen Connecticut More Than Pink Walk steps off Sunday, Oct. 26.
With inclusive and accessible options for people of all ages and abilities, the walk provides participants the opportunity to come together and connect in meaningful ways, while fundraising to support life-saving programs, research and advocacy for breast cancer legislation.
All breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special T-shirt recognizing their role in our event, regardless of fundraising level or status.
Registered survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who raise $100 or more will receive two shirts: one recognizing their role in the event as a survivor or a person living with metastatic breast cancer, as well as a gray fundraiser shirt.
Since 2018, participants have raised more than $60 million dollars to support the fight against breast cancer.
To help make fundraising easy, walk organizers provide tons of tools and resources, such as email and text messages, social media images and more.
You can also customize your fundraising center with the More Than Pink Walk App.
The More Than Pink Walk is Susan G. Komen’s largest fundraising event series. It evolved from the Race for the Cure in 2018, and each year it involves over 100,000 participants at more than 40 walks across the U.S.
Since the first Walk in 2018, participants have raised more than $60 million dollars to support the mission of a world without breast cancer.
