A New Britain pharmacy is offering vaccine clinics to area businesses.

Beacon Prescriptions of West Main Street in New Britain offers flu, COVID, RSV, and pneumonia vaccines.

Pharmacists are available to go to businesses to administer the vaccines from Sept. 23, 2024 through the end of November.

The vaccine clinic is free to anyone with active insurance. There is no additional charge to a business to host a clinic.

“Vaccination clinics are huge in terms of keeping your workplace safe and healthy,” said Beacon Prescriptions owner Todd DeGroff.

DeGroff said his team will work with businesses interested in having an employee clinic.

They typically vaccinate one person every three minutes, 20 to 25 people an hour.

DeGroff said forms are provided ahead of time for employees and HR professionals to complete to help the vaccinations run smoothly on the day of the clinic.

Pharmacists will bring extra vaccines for employees who do not pre register.

Businesses who are interested in hosting an employee clinic should contact DeGroff directly at tdegroff@beaconrx.com.
